Since opening Deering Dental in 2015 with the help of her husband Peter, Dr. Pinto has been on a mission to change the way her patients think and feel about dentistry. When asked, she says, “My goal has always been to create a practice where my guests receive the kind of service and level of care that I would want for my own family.”, but don’t just take her word for it, here are just a few things that patients have said about Dr. Yenile Y. Prior to accomplishing her dream of having her own practice, Dr. Pinto attended the University of Miami on a full academic scholarship where she graduated Cum Laude in just three years with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. Afterwards she went on to study dentistry at NYU Dental school also on academic scholarship. Being a Miami native and coming from a tight knit Cuban-American family, Dr. Pinto returned to her native city to begin practicing. Not satisfied with the standard of care she saw while working at several practices throughout Miami, Dr. Pinto set out to do something about it and opened Deering Dental to fulfill her vision of what dentistry should be.

Believing that, “if you’re not learning, you’re dying”, Dr. Pinto continues to hone her craft and strives to be at the forefront of dental medicine. This never ending search has lead her to become one of the only Biomimetic dentists in Miami which she says is, “the future of dentistry and the only ethical option once you understand how much better it is for your patients.”  Dr. Pinto herself drives all the way to Broward County to receive this same standard of care she gives to her own patients.

When she’s not transforming smiles or researching new dental techniques, Dr. Pinto enjoys spending most of her time with her husband Peter and three daughters Francesca 5, Giovanna 3 and Valentina 1. She also loves trying out new restaurants, riding motorcycles with her husband, finding new adventures and Cuban Bread with cream cheese and coffee.

Dr. Brandon Hernandez, was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Florida Gulf Coast University.  He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) Degree from the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Dr. Hernandez continued his education at The Ohio State University General Practice Residency in where he received advanced training with medically compromised patients, oral surgery, and moderate sedation dentistry. After Residency, He traveled to Minnesota where he practiced for nearly 3 years while volunteering at a community clinic twice a month and as a part time faculty at the University of Minnesota school of Dentistry. Now Dr. Hernandez has finally returned home to Miami with years of experience to continue his career with Deering Dental.

Dr. Hernandez joined Deering Dental as he was drawn to this practice by the reputation of providing the highest quality and excellence in full-scope dental care. Dr. Hernandez enjoys getting to know his patients and listening to their dental concerns. He treats all patients with top-quality care, professionalism, and respect. He strives to educate and empower them by explaining procedures thoroughly and discussing all treatments available.

Pursuing continuing education courses allows him to provide his patients with the most current and efficient treatment options available. Dr. Hernandez has extensive training and experience in all areas of general dentistry including esthetic restoration, clear braces, teeth extractions and Implants.

When Dr. Hernandez is not at the office, he enjoys spending time outdoors on hikes, fishing, biking and traveling.

An experienced periodontist, Dr. Robert H. Kaufman grew up in South Florida yet left the Sunshine State to attend Emory University for his undergraduate studies where he received an academic scholarship and was invited to join the prestigious honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. Trading in the Eagles for the Gators, he graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology, graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted in the University of Florida chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Kaufman then entered the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he graduated first in his class and was awarded entry into the national Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Following dental school, Dr. Kaufman relocated to Miami and completed a two-year hospital-based General Practice Residency and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the prestigious Jackson Memorial Hospital. He then returned to the University of Florida College of Dentistry and Shands Teaching Hospital, where he completed his Periodontal Surgical Residency.
