Dr. Pereda completed dental school and his post graduate endodontic training at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey. He utilizes his expertise in microscopic endodontics, microsurgery, regenerative therapy, and three-dimensional digital radiography (CBCT) to provide modern root canal therapy to his patients. Before settling in South Florida, Dr. Pereda worked in private practice as an endodontist in New Jersey. He has been engaged in multiple research topics such as “Middle Mesial Canals of First Molars”; a morphology study using CBCT technology and state of the art microscopes. During his years in dental school, he participated in multiple dental missions providing dental services to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti as well to the Navajo Native American tribe in collaboration with Indian Health Services.
Dr. Pereda is a talented, compassionate, and sensitive provider, making his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He is also fluent in Spanish and currently has Board Eligible status with the intention of becoming a Board Certified Endodontist.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Ana, daughters Alice and Annabel, as well as their dog, Snoopy. Not to mention hiking, traveling, golf, basketball, softball and skiing. After practicing in New Jersey, Dr. Pereda and his family decided to move back home to sunny South Florida.
